FrSky X8R receiver has 16 channels (8 normal PWM outputs and all 16 channels on the dedicated Sbus output) and also disposes the new Smart Port for connection supported sensor and receiver upgrade.
How do you get all 16 channels out of the X8R?
You use the Sbus line to access all 16 channels.
or you can combine 2x X8R and output channels 1-8 on the first reciever, and output 9-16 on the second reciever.
X8R can also work in D8 Mode and to work with the DHT, DJT, DFT and DHT-U transmitter modules. In this mode you have 8 channels.
